This black and white floral dress was bought at my local Thrift store about a week ago. I know it’s summer and I should not be buying long sleeves, but the details and the length drew me to it. I also like the feel of the fabric. It is not too heavy, which makes it perfect for the summer season. I figured I would also wear it with leggings and flats during the fall season. This is the kind of dress that you can wear from the house to the car, and from the car to your destination. I wouldn’t wear it for outdoor activities during the summer season.
Brand and material
This little black and white floral dress is by Old Navy. It’s in perfect condition. I already got it dry cleaned once already. The dress is lightweight and breathable. It is made of of 100% rayon/Viscose. Long sleeves don’t always mean you have to sacrifice style for comfort. This floral black and white dress is made with very light materials and I can barely feel that I am wearing anything. Wearing black, let alone long sleeves, can be a summer no-no, but this dress is definitely a summer yes-yes for me.
The dress looks great on its own, but I wanted to add a little definition at the waist. So, I added a belt. I completed the look with my black pumps and my mini bag. I think the dress is too short for church, but I can wear it to school events and other places. Styling this dress for the fall season should be fun, and I cannot wait to do it!
